Spanish Rice Meal Recipe
This is a fast and easy go-to meal that we make whenever we are in a hurry. It’s really a flexible recipe that allows us to use whatever we have available at the time. We give it a Mexican flavor by adding salsa, beans and taco meat to it.
When it is done, we just dish it out and then it’s time to add toppings!
Some of the toppings that we like to add are sliced avocados, cilantro, cotija cheese and olives. But I’m sure you can come up with some equally delicious ones!
- 2 cups rice
- 4 cups water
- 1/2 bottle salsa
- 1 cup cooked taco meat
- Cotija Cheese
- Add all ingredients, except toppings into your rice cooker. Cook until rice cooker is done with its cycle. Then dish out and let everyone top the rice with their favorite toppings.
