Ingredients
- 3 large russet potatoes 🥔
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder 🧄
- ½ tsp salt 🧂
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese 🧀
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley (optional) 🌿
Instructions
- Prep the Potatoes: Peel the potatoes (or leave the skin on for a rustic feel!), then slice them into thin fries. Try to keep them even-sized for an even cook. 👌
- Soak: Place the fries in cold water for about 30 minutes. This helps remove excess starch, making them extra crispy! 🧊
- Season: Drain and dry the potatoes. Toss them in a bowl with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until they’re well-coated. 🤩
- Air Fry: Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C). Lay the fries in a single layer in the basket and fry for about 15-20 minutes, shaking halfway through to ensure even crispiness. ⏲️
- Cheesy Finish: Once they’re golden and crispy, transfer the fries to a bowl and toss them with the Parmesan cheese. For an extra touch, sprinkle chopped parsley on top. 🌿
- Serve & Enjoy: These are best served fresh and hot! Dip them in your favorite sauce (garlic aioli, anyone?!) and enjoy every crispy bite. 😍
